Description
Josef K -- "Chance Meeting" b/w "Romance" 7"
Original 1979 UK release on Absolute Records (UK) (catalog # ABS 1, run-off grooves say "A PORKY PRIME CUT" & "STRAWBERRY SWITCHBLADE"), in Picture Sleeve.Scarce debut single from Josef K before they signed to Postcard. Paul Haig, Malcolm Ross, David Weddell and Ronnie Torrance. A much sought after blast of 'The Sound Of Young Scotland', this sole Absolute Records release is a limited edition of 1000 copies and features a version of "Chance Meeting" markedly different from the version later put out by Postcard.
CONDITION: Sleeve VG- / Vinyl NM- sleeve has general wear, ringwear, a little sticker residue; vinyl is extremely clean, not much wear at all, just a couple light surface marks. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.
