TRUTH-45-“Chimes On 42nd Street” b/w “When Was Then”-Mark LTD. Records# MR-1009-DJ Issue-HOLY GRAIL & Powerhouse 1968 Texas Garage-Punk-Psych=PUNKADELIC-KENNY & THE KASUALS minus Kenny when he got drafted; renamed themselves TRUTH. No need to describe; on Texas comps, Kenny & The Kasuals comps over the years; also can be heard on Utube.
Condition: Record is/ LOOKS PHYSICALLY-Visually near MINT-minus; almost PERFECT with one slight not quite ½ inch surface mar or surface scratch from outer deadwax in intro of the grooves on B side only. Really nothing, and seen in certain light angles. Really VISUALLY BEAUTIFUL copy. ----- HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: VERY NOISY PRESSING. I have seen / heard 3 copies of this—all had static in the pressing—DJ Pressings—heard a ‘stock’ copy and the noise was less noticeable-this has NO wear from playing-noise is IN the pressing--—crackle-static/background noise/distortion persistent throughout the number (on A side-when guitar riffs come in LOUD especially-sounds like the signal wasn’t compressed enough on the pressing and the volume distorts; B side not as much but still some noticeable at times)—noise due to pressing not condition.
Label clean both sides.
