WELCOME TO MY LAST VINYL LISTINGS OF THE YEAR AND SOME TASTY PRE CHRISTMAS LPs...................
JOHN MAYALL
The chance to bid on an original press of~~~~
Looking Back
Issued in a gatefold sleeve this is an ultra rare MONO first press~~by 1969 not many MONO albums were pressed and this is the first copy I have seen of this LP. The Lp includes tracks from the classic Bluesbreaker's years and the inner gatefold has a fine collage of band members over the years.
Includes Decca Mono inner bag.
The LP has been signed by John Mayall~~see scan 1.
1969 UK DECCA RECORDS 1st press.
(RED UNBOXED DECCA)

OVERALL CONDITION
GATEFOLD SLEEVE ~VG++front VG+ rear (bottom left crease~see scan 2)
VINYL ~ VG++
(minor scuffs but nothing serious)
(like the others listed plays much better than it looks~~well towards an Ex on playing)
OVERALL~ SLEEVE NOT TOO BAD AT ALL AND VINYL PLAYS MUCH BETTER THAN IT LOOKS~~TOWARDS AN EX!
THE MONO ISSUE IS EXTREMELY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER BY MAYALL COLLECTORS.
GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side and the run~out groove) or the odd crackle here and there, but nothing major. Visually the Lp has light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played a few times. There should be no skips or repeats or any deep felt marks and play without distortion.
Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and may have surface noise throughout but I will flag up this grading rarely.
The sleeve will have seen better days.
Probably worth it for rarity value.
All orders guaranteed professionally packed.
