JOHN COLTRANE - "A Love Supreme" - 1965 IMPULSE! - AS-77 RUDY VAN GELDER. This is a rare Near Mint Copy.
Excellent 1965 12" stereo release on the Impulse! label. Gatefold. Mastered by Rudy Van Gelder.
Condition and Audio Quality:
Visually grades at NM-/NM - on sides 1 and 2 respectively. The LP has a deep inky black gloss and rainbow luster. Each side has just a few very light and hard-to-see inner sleeve micro lines (no noise).
Plays NM- quiet. Just a touch of very light running static in a few spots. Another deep cleaning may make this play black quiet.
The jacket is in excellent VG+ condition. No edge wear. No cracks or splits. Some light wear on the very tips of the corner points. A stain on the lower left corner that shows on the inside of the gatefold. Has its original Impulse! inner sleeve. Cleaned and placed into a fresh new paper and poly master sleeve.
