Hello you are bidding for this mega rare early mono pressing of The Beatles massive White Album from 1968. What makes this mono pressing unique is that is one of the very early under 1000 numbered lps coming in at no.865. As time goes on its increasingly harder to find these early low numbered lps. Original uk first top loader with 'No Emi' on the labels also contains the 'Sold in UK subject'. Comes with the 4 original photographs but no poster also included is the original 2 x black inners. (I have just updated the listing with some better photographs) The records cosmetically don't look great but they play surprisingly well rating them a VG- based on that, there is some background noise and the odd pop throughout but the sound through that even sounds great. I have tried to document the sleeve as well as possible, the front is showing normal signs of wear but nothing to bad the spine is still there but heavily worn with a worn hole in the middle of the spine, the inside of the sleeve is a lot better shape with just some light wear and showing the laminate flipback nicely. The records have dark green Apple label which come with the "Sold In The UK..." text across all four labels also the "EMI Recording" is not on any of the 4 sides . The matrix numbers are: XEX 709-1/ XEX 710-1/ XEX 711-1/ XEX 712-1, A original mono pressing with an extremely low number on the front NO.865 . These are impossibly rare & extremely desirable. They are also a very sound investment for the future. Don't miss out! Postage wise as I am not sure how much it will sell for it will be need to be calculated at the end of the auction as insurance will be involved so if it goes very high the postage and insurance will reflect that.
