Label: RAMA. Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove. Label is blue with silver text. Catalog number is RLP 1003.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is nice VG+ with full original gloss. There is some light scuffing and light hairline marks, but none are serious. No skips or jumps. As with all my records, your satisfaction is fully guaranteed.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG to VG+. Laminated front artwork is clean and bright. Reverse is clean with no writing or stickers; has factory stamp mark at the top. Would grade higher but top seam and spine have chipping and splitting. Bottom seam is clean and fully intact.

“A superb hard bop session, taking the trumpeter beyond his swing comfort zone. Adrian Acea, the barely heard of Pianist on this wrote five of the tunes, and contributes massively to the modernism of the sound, in his playing and writing, Zoot is on top form, loose and fast, seemingly revelling in the newer sounds they are making. Originally on the Rama label, this was more of a Soul home than a jazz label at the time, so full marks retrospectively for getting this session together, where something magic arises from the assembled ingredients. This one will see plenty of turntable time.”
