The absolute rarity of this album is not to be underestimated. It hardly ever surfaces nowadays. This has a lovely deep glossy sheen!! Hauntingly beautiful songcraft!!! Immense quality prog album that ticks all the right boxes and incredibly hard to find. I have twentyfive years experience in grading. It doesn't get much better than this!!

BACK IN 1970 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!

!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! Most have been bought up by collectors!! This is hardly offered these days!!

In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this PROGMONSTER. Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks or crackle, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl .The audio is impeccable. Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

Vinyl: EX .  A sensational find!!! I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. Only a few wispy hairlines can be seen under a strong lightsource. Fantastic songcraft! Just listen to "Refugees" and be blown away!!!  For me this is essential prog like Gentle Giant and early Yes. Peter Hammill was one of the most important composers of the 70's onwards. I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog collection. Of course NO jumps/clicks/skips etc.

Original pink Charisma 'scroll' labels - Both in absolutely perfect / mint condition apart from a couple of extremely light, small spindle marks. 

Original G&L gatefold sleeve with B&C Records credits to the rear. These original sleeves are very fragile. The printing rubs off very easily and they are extremely prone to wear. This one is in lovely 'excellent-plus' condition with just a little light, storage wear, a few light rubs and just the start of some very light ringwear. This is a really nice clean and straight example with no splits, rips, tears, major creases, sticker marks or ringwear. The spine and edges have a few light rubs but are otherwise perfect. The inner gatefold is clean, bright and unmarked!

It doesn't get much better than this!!! Awesome condition and possibly the best I have ever come across in 35 years!!! believe me I have seen quite a few although less and less lately.

Gatefold Sleeve: EX+.  An amazing copy at last!!! NOT ANY CREASE AND HARDLY ANY WEAR!!! This early copy is made all the more rare by two other major factors: the cover, like the record is highly intolerant of heavy handling and poor storage and is very rarely found with little wear, and most have deep ringwear and rubbing and look a real mess. This one is in fantastic condition and is a genuine original with the B&C publishing credits and ‘patents pending’ text (please see close up). It just has the lightest of ring to the back. This is in superb condition and is highly elusive indeed and will prove extremely hard to find better. Such a clean overall copy is rare and will not come again soon, make no mistake!!! OF COURSE NO WRITING, NO TEARS ETC.

Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
