Box Set ist in einer Near Mint Qualität. Nur eine Platte wurde einmal angespielt.
"I want to do definitive, complete box sets that will bring out unissued material, correct mistakes on past reissues and draw a whole body of work together with a serious, deluxe, booklet." says Michael Cuscuna, co-founder of the Mosaic Records about his ambitious project. "These jazz records are more than simple albums, they are great documentations of a pure art form, performed by the masters and packed and released by great enthusiasts of this thing called jazz."

- Die Box besteht aus 11 LPs (Vinyl).
- Jede Platte ist wie folgt gekennzeichnet: MQ11-169 P11-28086 + Fortlaufende Nummer. Auf der Box selbst befindet sich ebenfalls die Kennzeichnung MQ11-169.
- Auf jeder Platte befindet sich: Copyright 1996/Mosaic Records.
- Im Booklet ist eingetragen: "This is number 2983 of an edition limited to 7500 albums". Die Nummer 2983 ist handschriftlich in Blau eingetragen. (Ein wenig interpretationsbedürftig, so könnte zum Beispielt die 9 auch eine 1 sein).
- Die Box habe ich dazumal selbst direkt von Mosaic Records aus den USA importiert - war also niemand dazwischen.
