Title: JAY JAY JOHNSON Volume 1. The first of three volumes, on three different dates, June 22, 1953; September 24, 1954; June 6, 1955. On this volume, on June 22, 1953, the artists listed below, were featured:
Jay Jay Johnson, trombone; Clifford Brown, trumpet; John Lewis, piano; Jimmy Heath, tenor & baritone sax; Percy Heath, bass; Kenny Clarke, drums.

Lexington Avenue pressings are becoming harder and harder to find, especially those with superb fidelity. It's obvious that there's been a huge decrease in circulation, on eBay, lately.
RVG is etched on both sides in trail off.
EAR symbols on both sides in trail off
No "R" initial on any side of labels.
Label: Blue Note (mono format) BLP 1505, 767 Lexington Avenue addresses on both sides of labels.
Double sided deep groove labels.
Record Condition: Mint Minus, on visual, on both sides; Excellent, on playback, on Side One, ONLY because, the following track, LOVER MAN, play grades with some light static noises, but nothing intrusive that overpowers your listening experience. All the remaining tracks play grade sweet, with no intrusive background noises. Side Two play grades in Excellent +, with no intrusive static background noises, on any tracks. A good cleaning, with a VPI record cleaning machine, might improve track, LOVER MAN, which play grades with minor static noises. The vinyl retains great gloss, with no scratches. This is a truly outstanding record!
Cover Condition: Excellent (minor seam spliting, on upper seam, lower seam, and spine, which have been nicely taped up, with transparent tape. Cover is in overall great shape, with no stains. Thick, glossy cardboard cover has, 767 Lexington Avenue., New York 21, on the back
