Description
I have been collecting records for almost 50 years and now it is time to sell some of my collection. I have always tried to collect the best possible vinyl available, always upgrading as I went along. A lot of the LPs I will be listing are still in FACTORY SRINKWRAP with many being virtually unplayed and in mint- condition. All of the LPs that I list will be in at least excellent condition or better
Up for bid is this NEAR PERFECT ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st pressing of Jimi Hendrix's LP "Electric Ladyland" on the Track record label cat # 613 009 and is in all around NEAR MINT CONDITION. This is the earliest 1st pressing with the upside down catalog numbers on the labels and the crossed out matrix numbers in the run off areas of the side C vinyl. The later issues do not have these upside down cat numbers on the labels. The later issues have the text "Two Record Set" and "Set No. 2657-001 on the record labels. This LP has the earliest White Text cover with the Cat No. 613 009 printed on the bottom of the inside gatefold. The later issues have the number 2657-001 printed at the bottom.
The cover is in NR MINT condition with perfect spine, laminate, seams and crisp opening edges and perfect inner gatefold that has crisp laminate crackle on opening. There is just a hint of record impression on the laminate if held to the light and a corner bump to the left.... the best that I could find in years of collecting, a SUPERB example.
The EARLIEST 1st press Track labels with the upside down cat numbers are in NR MINT condition with just light spindle trace only.
The two unmarked vinyls are in NR MINT condition with UNBELIEVABLE SHINE and NR MINT AUDIO PLAYBACK
The ORIGINAL poly lined numbered 11947 inner sleeves are in NR MINT condition with just some light ageing.
