LABEL no.: R 6261
COVER: GOOD. Has neatly taped seams, front cover is pretty good, back has cuts.
VINYL: FAIR. many scuffs.
LABEL CONDITION: Famous tri-color Reprise steamboat labels. Has ink name on both sides, spindle marks, peeled strip and name on side 2

COMMENTS: US original album. The hard to find MONO pressing of the iconic debut album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience!!! You know them but songs include, Purple Haze, Fire, Hey Joe, and many more great ones. STARTER copy but worthwhile to hear the superior US pressing in MONO...at least in my opinion!!! Fatter, stronger, and more of a sonic blast than the panned stereo US version. Has many scuffs which causes noise but plays fine....SOLD AS-IS!!!

PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's. AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!!
ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!
I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!! FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
