Description
This is a rare original 1958 copy of the self-titled debut of Jerry Lee Lewis (Sun LP-1230 Mono). This is "The Killer's" finest work, and one of the pioneer albums of the young rockabilly genre.
Vinyl retains good shine. There are many minor hairlines and light scratches from almost 60 years of play. Labels similarly show some wear from extensive play.
Here's my play-graded assessment: Play quality is mostly VG+ with the only exception being a few jumps on the song "Put Me Down." The song plays through without any repeating skips.
The overall sound is stunning and like many of these early Microgroove records, the sound quality and fidelity is far better than the visual would suggest.
A great listen and a great original album!

The cover displays very well. Essentially no ringwear and great color. Clean legible spine. Still has the original price tag for $1.97! Some creasing in upper right and lower left corners. 3" top and 3" bottom seam splits at the opening.
