I have for auction from my own collection this superb original copy of this highly collectable album.This issue came in a none laminated sleeve which is in stunning condition.What makes this issue so rare is that it has a "promotional only not for resale" gold stamp on the rear of the cover.I have never come accross another copy the same as this one and it must be one of the rarest Hendrix Track label albums in existance. The sleeve has just a couple of very minor creases and looks almost new.The spine is near perfect and the front and rear faces are almost as clean and fresh as the day it was made,very hard to find like this.A lot of the new albums i purchase do not look as good as this.I feel that this sleeve deserves a grading of at least exc++ it really is exceptional.I have closely inspected the vinyl(which comes in the super condition original inner sleeve),and it looks as though it has been played very little.I have owned this album for most of its life and have only played it once or twice.The labels have just a couple of faint spindle marks and examined under strong light there are a couple of extremely faint sleeve drag lines on the vinyl.These can only be seen under strong light and do not effect the superb audio performance.I gave it a play for the first time in many years prior to listing and it played superbly on my £18,000 Linn Naim system with minimal surface noise.The vinyl i will grade as exc++,although to my eyes it looks pristine and most would grade this as near mint.If you want a copy of this album that looks stunning and has superb audio then this copy must be worth consideration.Copies of Jimi Hendrix albums on the Track Label in this condition are becoming very hard to find these days,and finding another promo copy virtually impossible.
