ORIGINAL FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE

Condition of cover/record: VG+ / EX+ (Grading as used by Record Collector)
THE RAREST PRESSING OF HENDRIX'S DEBUT ALBUM, AND IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!
The cover is in great condition - it has been stored in a protected sleeve from new! Front laminated and made by E J Day in London. The Laminate has protected it, and it is still clean, bright and colourful! There are a few minor, light laminate creases, but they don't detract from the overall condition. The open edge has just very light wear. The top edges is pristine, the bottom edge has a spot of wear, the conrers are strong, and the spine is strong and sharp with only light wear!
The back cover is not laminated and these are usually found very aged and worn. This one is not!!! It's in great condition with only light aging and very light ringwear!!!. There is a small whole on the bottom right corner (see picture). I have no idea how that would have occured, but it's not too obtrusive. The bottom features the text "Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, W.1. Patent Pending." - a true first issue cover, and very rare! Amazing condition for this delicate 38 year old cover, and grades a strong VG+
The inner sleeve is the original plain white one and is in great condition.
The two black and silver TRACK labels are in stunning condition, bright, clean and crisp. These matt black labels tend to show the spindle marks, but here they are not obvious, only a few and they are very feint. I would grade the labels EX+.
The vinyl is superb!!! Very clean, shiny and lusterous - it looks new! There are two or three very light surface marks which prevent me from grading it MINT MINUS, and they do not interfere with the sound in any way. The audio is amazing and plays like new. It really seems that this was only played a couple of times, which is so rare with this classic record - it has a very glossy, new look and is just stunning. Again, great for a 38 year old record, and grades a STRONG EX+
I have listened to this the whole way through to ensure an acurate description - aurally i would grade this as NEAR MINT!
