JETHRO TULL - STAND UP - 1969 PROGRESSIVE CLASSIC ON THE PINK ISLAND 'BULLSEYE' LABEL IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION

This is an excellent, well-looked after first pressing copy of the Jethro Tull classic in a rigid cover with an intact working 'pop-up' inside the gatefold, clean labels and no major faults.
VINYL: Retains a high shiny gloss finish. There are a couple of small marks visible under strong light but nothing serious. There is very little background noise anywhere. SIDE ONE: EXCELLENT. There is a short click between tracks two and three which extends into the first few seconds of track three, but it is not intrusive and quickly disappears. There are no other audio faults of any kind. SIDE TWO: EXCELLENT+ One light click on the run-in to Track 3 - no other audio faults of any kind. LABELS: Original pink Island "bullseye" labels both in excellent condition, with no writing or marks, vivid original colour.
COVER: EXCELLENT. Nice example of the famous 'pop-up' cover, with a cut-out of the band in the centre gatefold. The inner gatefold is immaculate, with no damage to the pop-up, no writing, marks, or dirt. There are no creases or scuffs on the front or back covers. The spine is intact, rigid, and fully readable (see photos). The white rear cover. which is prone to pick up storage marks and general dirt, is one of the cleanest I have seen.
OVERALL: I have owned many copies of this album and this comes in the top five per cent for its overall condition and appearance. It plays beautifully, and in this condition this record is now seriously hard to find. It's probably a final upgrade for most collectors, and only for sale as I have an even better copy (Mint) in my personal collection.
