Catalogue No: CJT 1/2

Country: UK

Year: 1972

Label: Chrysalis

Vinyl: Disc 1 (EX++/NM) In normal light looks as new - under bright halogen light scrutiny just some light wispy sleeve removal scuffs, Top condition! Disc 2 (NM/M-) In normal light looks as new - under bright halogen light scrutiny just 1 or 2 light sleeve removal scuffs (and you will have to look hard to see these), Great condition Vinyl! - so hard to find as the discs originally were placed in the ruff pages of the book and usually end up with lots of surface damage as the vinyl is lifted in and out, however the owner had the sense to place them quickly into 2 tissue lined inners for protection!! As a result they both play great superb with just minimal dust crackle

Sleeve: (EX+) Great find, the `Leather Look`  Cover & Book Sleeve Printed by `The Cavendish Press` with it`s Matt finish it was very prone to wear with pages dropping out and appalling edge wear, not this copy though, all the pages are still soundly fixed with no stains etc, some light spine wear, No bad ringwear, the soft edges offered no protection whatsoever but seem to have stood the test of time reasonably well with just some slight corner bending (see photos) - great copy!!!

Labels: - Lovely Clean `Green` Chrysalis labels - Disc 1 has No visible spindle lines, Disc 2 shows just 2 - look almost unplayed

Post/Packing: UK - £6.50, Europe - £8.50, World £10.50

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
