Description
This is the ORIGINAL, ultra-rare, SUN LP-1230 from the incredible Jerry Lee Lewis--The Killer! The LP was issued in 1958 and this copy is authenic, original with the heavier laminated cover and thick early style vinyl. Notice the SUN logo as well. This copy is 55 years old but is in amazing condition. The photos will show the very few imperfections as will the detailed description below. An Original Issue of this LP rarely makes it to Ebay and always brings great value. But this copy's condition makes this listing really rare.
COVER:
This is SUN LP-1230. The front cover is almost blemish free. There is some fading and staining barely visible near the cover opening and some peeling on the bottom right edge. The back cover has a mild amount of ring wear on the bottom and top roughly 1 inch from each edge. The spine is intact but does have some discoloration/staining which can be seen in the photos. The top edge looks great and there is a small 1 inch tear on the bottom edge, which is about 3-4 inches in from the opening edge. This cover is in wonderful condition for its age. The inner sleeve is generic and may or may not be original. The photos will show just how clean this cover is.
VINYL:
There might be minor paper scuffing and maybe minor scratching but visually to the seller it looks to have been played very little at all. The vinyl is incredibly clean and shiny. The label is strong in color with very limited evidence of spindle scars. The original owner obviously cared for this record. The photos will show you more.
