WARNING! International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for postage costs. I will only ship to Europe and Worldwide via International “signed for” airmail and this can be very expensive.
OK, having got that bit of business out of the way, welcome!
You are bidding on a 12” vinyl LP of The Rolling Stones album - Sticky Fingers. This album is housed in the much coveted "real zip" cover with Andy Warhol's name on the card of "pants" behind it. Looking at other listings, some appear to have a further insert. This copy does not.
This is from my own personal collection. It’s time to make some space so sadly I am selling my vinyl collection. Please check out my other items for sale and there are many more to follow, so keep checking back.
Please read the condition of the item carefully below before bidding. Unlike many people selling vinyl on eBay I play every track of every album before listing it. It’s very time consuming, but means I can give an accurate description and an honest opinion of condition. I do not accept returns, in saying that if you receive an album and you feel I have made a genuine mistake and missed a blatant defect, do please contact me.
I am not a record dealer and I am not an expert at grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in identifying particular albums.

CONDITION
Record: (Visually) Both labels clean. Small nick in label right by spindle hole side 2. Vinyl has some light finger marking. I can see a few light surface scuff and scratch marks on both sides. (Playing) I have played the whole album through. Obviously it was played a fair bit, "back in the day", but having just played it, it sounds pretty good. Probably not the crystal clear sound it would have been as a new record, but still good quality audio. There are no jumps, skips, or sticking. I was aware of some low level surface noise in a few places (between tracks and in quiet bits). I did hear a few light clicks, but bear in mind I was listening out for them and there none of the ones I heard jumped out at me as being loud. All in all I still found it a very good listen.
Cover: The famous zip cover. The zip is very stiff, I have pulled it down about an inch. Don't want to risk damage by pulling it further. There are some glue marks around the back of the zip, on the inside. I don't remember re-gluing it in at any stage, so they may have been there from the start. There is some creasing and a 1.5 cm tear at the top of the cover (by the belt buckle flap). There are a few minor glue spots around that area as well. It maybe they were there when I bought it, because there is a small sticker (1cm x 1cm) on the back with a small number 0618 on - so it could be I bought it second hand. The same number appears as a small stamped number on the white paper inner sleeve. There are other small (non-obtrusive) indentations and crease marks around the cover. There is some wear to edges but no splits. One side has partly become unglued. Just requires a line of glue along the flap to re-seal it. The spine lays flat (which I think it did on all copies of this album), but the spine text is still clear and readable. I have added a second photo (That's as close as I can get without it blurring) to try and show the creases. That is also a glue spot on the left leg I think. None of it is particularly obtrusive from any sort of distance, but you can see it when you look up close.
Inner sleeve: Some creasing and also a very tiny tear at the opening.
Extras: No other inserts included.
Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would say this is VGC in respect of the vinyl (some may even grade higher). Difficult to grade this cover. Obviously it's iconic, but with the creasing and a small tear probably good +
This isn’t a “mint” album, but I believe it would still make a nice addition to a Stones's collection if you haven't got the "real zip" version cover, despite its defects described above and at a reasonable starting price. .
If you would like any further information regarding this item, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer your questions.
Describing the condition of items is very subjective. (one man’s treasure is another man’s junk etc). I will always try to be as honest as possible in describing the items. I would rather be honest from the outset, than end up with a disappointed winning bidder. I buy things on eBay as well and would expect the same honesty from others.
There is no reserve on this item.

All albums are dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers with additional stiffeners, to ensure safe arrival. The cost of this packaging is included in the postage price.
