Description

JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Takes Off.  RCA Victor, 1966.  LPM-3584 Mono.  First pressing in Brazil.   Uncensored version 2 with 11 tracks and "sexy" lyrics.  Extremely rare.  Record has barely been played, with no spindle wear or scratches.  Very minor scuffs, probably from storage.  Big mono sound with no pops or skips.  The opening to side two is unbelievably quiet.   Jacket has no splits, but it does have a name erased on the back.  Done well, you can hardly tell.  Back cover is in Portuguese.  If you don't like that, I can include an American jacket and sleeve from the same album, early mono in NM condition.  Then the only way you can tell it was issued in Brasil is the fine print on the edge of the label.  However, this uncensored import is certainly even rarer than the US uncensored edition, since they would have printed far fewer for the Brasilian market.  I have handled about a dozen US editions, but no foreign ones.  This is the only one with a label like this I have ever seen.
