Description

JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Takes Off.  Original 1966 mono record.  Uncensored version 2, with 11 tracks, but no 12th track.  Very rare, one of the most collectible records there is.  In great shape, vinyl is VG+ or better.  No writing on labels, a couple of spindle marks.  Sound is great, no pops or skips.  Super big mono sound.  Minor surface scuffing, but no marks you can feel or hear.  Quiet between tracks.  Cover is NM near mint, was still in shrink when I got it but the shrink was old and dirty so I removed it.  No splits, no writing, no ringwear, no stains.  Back is even better than front, flawless.  Original innersleeve with ads is also near mint, with no splits or tape.  Still very white.  More pics available upon request.

Two tracks were later censored due to sexual lyrics.  This is the original version before censorship.  

This album used to go for "thousands," according to Wikipedia.  Get it in this market for less than half price.  Guaranteed to be as described here.
