Description
This is the 1967 Stereo vinyl LP released by Verve Records of famed jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery entitled " California Dreaming " (V6--8672). This album was recorded at Van Gelder Studios on September 14.15 16 1966. Award winning jazz recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder was the engineer for this recording. Herbie Hancock who plays piano on the recording was appearing courtesy of Blue Note Records.
This LP is in COLLECTOR CONDITION. The shiny vinyl shows some light spindle marks around the center hole but shows very well and produces a simply flawless sound and listening experience (no surface noise or pop, skips or repeats). The dead wax on each side is stamped with VAN GELDER. We conservatively rate the vinyl as EX+ condition using Goldmine standards. The original Verve inner sleeve is included.
The outer gatefold jacket is in superb condition with respect to the front cover, inner gatefold and back cover. It is noted that the corners had some light softening form past storage. We rate this jacket as a strong EX+ as to condition. A new poly slip on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 50 year old gem for future generations.
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
