Description
Up for auction at NO reserve is "Sextet" by Jay Jay Johnson, on the Blue Note label, catalog #BLP 5028. The deep groove 767 Lexington Ave NYC label LP is VG+, with a few light paper scuffs. Has "ear" etched in trail off vinyl, no "RVG". Label shows some smearing on each side, see photos. The cover is VG+, with some seam wear/chipping, corner wear, and some light staining along bottom seam, look at the bottom of Jimmy Heath's shirt. Back cover shows some staining near bottom as well, again, see photos below. Joining Mr. Johnson on this date are Clifford Brown, Jimmy Heath, John Lewis, Percy Heath, and Kenny Clarke. Please check my other auctions this week for more great jazz 10" & 12" LPs. In about a month I will be listing the remainder of the rare jazz LPs that I have left.
All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $14.00 Airmail to Europe, the UK, Asia and Oceania.
