Description Of Recording:
James McMurtry’s father, novelist Larry McMurtry, gave him his first guitar at age seven. His mother, an English professor, taught him how to play it: "My mother taught me three chords and the rest I just stole as I went along. I learned everything by ear or by watching people."
Too Long in the Wasteland is McMurtry's 1989 debut album; John Mellencamp served as co-producer.
Vinyl condition is based on visual inspection only. Sold as untested, unsure of sound quality. I am not a grader and have a thousand albums to list. All sold "AS IS".
