Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1960 MONO DEEP GROOVE MONAURAL PRESSING REVIEW COPY of the 1960 LP titled 'Jackie's Bag' from alto sax man Jackie McLean. It is U.S. Blue Note Records catalog number 4051. Record labels bear the West 63rd address; back cover of the album bears the West 61st address; the A-side label and the back cover bear the 'REVIEW COPY' rubber stamp. Personnel: Donald Byrd or Blue Mitchell-trumpet / Jackie McLean-alto sax / Tina Brooks-tenor sax / Sonny Clark or Kenny Drew-piano / Paul Chambers-bass / Philly Joe Jones or Art Taylor-drums. Visual condition of record is a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and just a very few very light visible surface or sleeve marks which mostly show up only under strong light, cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with one very small worn spot near the top of the front cover near the upper right corner and another along the right-hand edge, some age discoloration and one small stain along the edges of the back cover slick, a little contact wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners.
