You are looking at the ORIGINAL pressing of:
Jack London And The Sparrows: S/T LP, 1965, Canada/Capitol 6000 T-6115
This is the RARE album by guitarist Mars Bonfire, his drummer brother Jerry Edmonton, and bass player Nick St. Nicholas, all of whom figured in the formation of Steppenwolf. Primitive garage beat stuff, some of which has a good edge to it. This album has an incredibly great period cover, the back has pics and bios and it's interesting that Jerry lists his "ambition" as "to buy a Jaguar" which I do believe is what led to his passing in 1993.
One of thee most sought after Canadian 60s pieces of vinyl. A must for any collector of the period, the region, the label and also the music of The Beatles, The Kinks, Dave Clark 5, and the youthful Garage R&B Beat bands of the era.
Condition:
Vinyl: VG-  Play tested, light scratches on both sides and surface wear cause surface noise - which is NOT aggressive, noticeable in quite passages and often not heard throughout the album. Brief skip toward the end of Track 1 - not interrupting the vocals. Overall a very listenable and enjoyable record.
Jacket: VG As pictured there is a large split at the top - easily missed when viewed from the front - looks great in a clean plastic sleeve, the rest of the jacket is quite clean and stunning, cover looks great, I feel it deserves a VG rating. Spine looking clean and clear as pictured. No splits at bottom.
THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK
