Description
If you’re looking for this, you probably know a bunch of the history around it. All verification points are coming from the rarebeatles.com website.
This version is the ‘title back ‘ sleeve with Love Me Do & P.S. I Love You. The sleeve itself is in pretty solid shape. There are a couple of dings, but overall it has held up well. It’s glossy, George’s shadow is there, the fold over at the opening is ¼”. There is some writing (though, helpfully, one piece of writing says ‘Feb. ‘64,’ the month this was first released. There is one small (1”) bit of separation at the top of the sleeve. It hasn’t fully split, but it’s worth noting.
The disc itself is in really nice shape. No visible scuffs/marks. It has the “45” label, the full bright color-band, and all groove markings match up. Both the album title and ‘The Beatles’ are above the hole, and all of the capitalization is a match.
Thankfully, the original Vee-Jay sleeve is present; through sadly it has some separation and could use a professional repair. That being said, there aren’t a lot of these left anymore.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I’ll happily send along or add any other photos.
Thanks!
