Description

  • Up for sale is this amazing conditioned original authentic version 1 mono LP vinyl record of 'Introducing The Beatles' released in Jan. of 1964 in The United States. These first pressing in early 1964 were never factory sealed & sold in the record stores like this with a price sticker affixed to the cover. The cover is in near mint- condition with no seam splits or flaking wear to the edges. There is no ring wear on the front glossy cover & just a hint of rub wear to the bottom section. These covers show rub wear very easily & how this cover avoided that is remarkable. The cover has a slight push to the upper right corner & a tiny bit of corner tip wear to the lower left corner. The cover has the correct 1/4" flaps on the inside & passing the "A Taste Of Honey" test on the back cover. The printing on the spine is perfectly centered. The mono record that does play "Love Me Do" & "P.S. I Love You" is in excellent condition with hardly any play wear at all. Only in the dead wax do you see hairline scratches. The record plays very quite all the way through on my Thornes turntable with only a few clicks in between songs. The record's dead wax has 'audiomatrix' & 'MR' for Monarch Records. The dead wax also has the date 6-29-63 on both sides. Also included is the original Vee Jay 'Ad Back' inner sleeve in very good condition with a split on the bottom edge. This RARE LP will be double boxed for protection through shipment. Thanks Frank
