Description
This is a fine reissue copy of the rare sole LP by Summer Sounds, originally released in 1969. From southern Massachusetts, the group played what can be described as garage pop-rock a la 1965-66 -- a bit behind the times when it was released, but fine for what it is. Their LP includes an energetic cover of the Spencer Davis Group's "Gimme Some Lovin'" as well as a version of the Zombies' "I Love You." This pressing is the first reissue of the LP in any format, and to date the only official reissue of it. The record is housed in a plain white jacket with cover slicks on the front and back covers. Both jacket and slicks are close to pristine (M-). Visually, the disc is clean with some fingerprints and a little light scuffing. The source disc plays with occasional light surface noise. Graded visually, M-.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
