Description
Wonderful first issue UK copy of Hendrix' Are You Experienced in mono. Everything is original. Any defects are listed above and though it may look like a lot in reality they are a couple of very small items. This is a beautiful copy. Original 1st press on Track Records nearly perfectly preserved for nearly 50 years. The vinyl is shiny and clean, the label is silver writing on black matt finish. There are some spindle marks but it's not covered with them. Matrix are A1/B1. Back corner of cover says "Printed by Ernest J Day LTD., W.1. Patent pending" The aforementioned cover is gorgeous, other than the few tiny laminate creases, not splits, there is no damage at all. No split seams and the spine is gorgeous. The back cover is stunning in a black matt finish. Only the front is laminated. This LP in this condition is insanely rare and it is a beautiful copy.
My grading system is M(only used on sealed LPs), NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG- and Good. LPs rated good will only be sold if they are very rare. I have been collecting and grading LPs for nearly 5 decades. I was a seller of guitars for many years on Ebay and now decided to put some of my LP collection up for sale. I have many Psych, Hard Rock, Blues, Jazz, Prog and more from the 1960s and 1970s. Many are still sealed. I will offer auction style and Buy It Now listings.
Shipping - I will ship media mail to anywhere in the US for $4.00. I will also offer Priority shipping for $12.00. I ship in LP mailers with the LPs outside of the sleeve to avoid seam splits. Sealed LPs will not be opened. I will also ship to Europe and Japan via USPS international Priority mail for $24 for the first LP. I will combine shipping. I will ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment.
Payment - I accept Paypal payments only and items must be paid within 3 days of listing's close.
I have been adding more LPs for sale so please check my other items as well. Thank you all and come back often. Please ask any questions you may have.
On Aug-07-16 at 10:50:19 PDT, seller added the following information:I was contacted today by a gentleman claiming that this issue is not a first pressing because the real 1st press was laminated on both sides of the cover. He was partially correct. After doing more research it seems Track released the fully laminated version and the front only laminated version on the exact same day, 12 May 1967. And to take it a step further, the matrix numbers of both versions match exactly. And I also learned that this LP was the first Track Records release. I just wanted to clear that up if anyone had any more questions. Thank you.
