Description
78 rpm 10" acetate demo of "I'm Falling in Love Tonight," probably sung by the writer Don Robertson. Like many Hill & Range acetates of this era, it is sung in the style of Elvis Presley in an attempt to get him to record the song. In this case, it was successful, as Elvis recorded the song for "World's Fair." It is very delicate (as are all acetates). I would grade it VG-, with some hairline cracks visible in the acetate, but the playing surface is complete. There is a small patch on the edge, far from the playing surface, where the metal is poking through. It does play through with some noise that would probably be improved by a good cleaning. Listen to the clip. The rest sounds significantly better. If you want to listen to it, you'll probably want noise reducing software. Priced accordingly.
