This is my mothers album that she bought new in 1964 in Jamestown New York. She is 86 years old now, and has never let it out of her possession.
MONO DISC Version I Blank Back. This is one of 6000 First Issue Cover front and back slicks printed by the Coburn & Company just after July 23rd 1963. These 6000 are the only ones that say PRINTED IN USA on the front. (This one has it). They have a Glossy coated Jacket cover front and back. (This one has).

THIS IS A 1ST MONO ISSUE VEE JAY PRESSING WHICH IS EXTREMELY RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE.
THIS RECORD SEEMS TO TICK ALL THE RIGHT BOXES TO BE AUTHENTIC FIRST ISSUE COVER & LP, AND THEY ARE THE FOLLOWING :

COVER PRINTED BY COBURN & COMPANY CHICAGO SAYS ''PRINTED IN USA'' ON THE FRONT COVER; VERTICALLY FROM THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER ALONG THE SPINE.
MOST COVERS HAVE A CHARACTERISTIC 1/4 INCH FLAP OF CARDBOARD THAT IS FOLDED OVER THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE INSIDE COVER. THIS RECORD HAS THIS.
THE FRONT AND BACK COVER HAVE A GLOSSY LIKE FINISH. (BACK IS BLANK)
GEORGE HARRISON'S SHADOW IS EVIDENT ON THE FRONT COVER PHOTO.
PRESSED AT MONARCH RECORD MFG COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA. HAS THE LETTERS ''M.R'' IN A CIRCLE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD IN THE DEADWAX.

THIS RECORD IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND.
PLEASE LOOK EXTREMELY CAREFULLY AT THE PHOTOS AS THEY ARE A LARGE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
THE COVER IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR AGE AND USE.
THE SPINE IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH WEAR TO THE CORNERS.
THE LABELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH THE USUAL SPINDLES MARKS FOR A RECORD OF THIS VINTAGE.
THE RECORD SLEEVE HAS SOME TEARS TO THE PAPER.
THIS RECORD HAS SURFACE MARKS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VINYL BUT DOES NOT HAVE ANY SCRATCHES THAT WOULD INTERFERE WITH SOUND PLAY.
