Description

Up for sale is an original 1983 first pressing of Kill ’Em All by Metallica, released on Megaforce Records (catalog # MRI 069). I have play tested this album. It plays all the way through with no issue.


This is the true first U.S. pressing, featuring:

• Silver Megaforce labels with black print

• Runout etchings: MRI 069 A / MRI 069 B (no mastering marks – authentic earliest cut)

• Original cover with hammer & blood artwork, back cover with band photo and “Bang That Head That Doesn’t Bang” quote


Condition

• Vinyl: VG+ (light surface marks, plays through with excellent sound, no skips)

• Jacket: VG (some edge and corner wear, light ring wear, spine intact, no seam splits)

• Inner sleeve: Plain replacement sleeve


Notes

• This is the highly collectible Megaforce 1st press, not the later Elektra reissue.

• One of the most iconic and sought-after heavy metal LPs of the 1980s.
