THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK ELEKTRA STEREO ISSUE OF THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND’S 2 LP SET “WEE TAM AND THE BIG HUGE” AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! COPIES OF THESE LPs TENDED TO GET PLAYED TO DEATH AND WERE NOT VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER, SO THEY ARE CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN ANYTHING APPROACHING THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN VERY CLOSE TO MINT CONDITION. THE INSERT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Numbers are EKS 74036 and EKS 74037 on the UK ELEKTRA label. Matrix numbers are A1 and B1.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and ONLY A FEW LIGHT spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS SET SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORDS STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The records sound as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures)! It has NO wear to the spine. There is ONLY THE TINIEST wear to the EXTREME corners of the cover. The opening edges are straight with VERY LITTLE edgewear. There are NO creases at all. There is NO rubbing. There is ONLY THE TINIEST HINT of ringwear to the top of the front and back covers. There is NO ringwear to the double spread picture of Robin and Mike on the fold-out inside cover. There is NO writing.
Apart from that, there are NO blemishes at all to the cover – it essentially retains ALL of its initial glossy look. The cover looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOR ITS AGE!

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
