Description
One of the finest roots 7"'s to come from Jamaica with a top dub on the version side. This is the original pressing not any later re-pressings. This is on the Big Ben Records label released in 1979. The vocal side matrix number in the dead wax is BB-1001-B1, the version side is DSR 0118 DT BIG BEN CO LTD. The vinyl is visually graded as VG with a couple of marks on the version side. Both labels are clean and tidy both have hand stamped " Export " stamps on them. This is not the loudest pressing ever and both sides have the usual Jamaican surface noise but certainly not severe, no crackles or pops or scratches or jumps. The version is one of the finest dubs you will here.........there are so many dubs that have never been released on LP or remastered for CD but just exist on the version sides of Jamaican released 7"'s and this is one........it sounds like it was mixed at Tubby's as it has the trademark dubby tone sound..........Reggae fans will know the one.
