12” 78 rpm acetate. No label.
Detroit blues masterpiece recorded in 1952.
Found in a stack of Dot Records acetates many years ago.
This is a bit rough visually. Quite a few scuffs and scratches.
However, as you can hear below, most do not sound.
Considering how rare the issued 78 is, I can't imagine there are any other copies of the acetate out there.
Sound sample made on an Audio Technica turntable using an Ortofon 78 needle.
Recorded flat. No processing.
Record cleaned with L'Art du Son fluid on an Okie Nokki record cleaning machine and placed in a new sleeve.
