Description

Up for auction is a very nice vinyl record album by HAYMARKET SQUARE titled MAGIC LANTERN LP ORIGINAL 1969 US Pressing on CHAPARRAL Records Chicago area female vocal psych monster rarity which appears to have been given to 'the kids' to play sometime in the past, side one has a major visible scuff scratch mark which causes repeated tics and pops with several skips in places, side two actually sounds fairly nice after the first minute or two into the album reportedly one-hundred original copies were produced MUCH BETTER THAN A SHELF FILLER
GOOD PLUS VINYL RECORD ALBUM side one has several repeated tics and light pops at the mid song period with a possible skip towards the song end, song two, train kept rolling has about ten repeated tics with several louder pops, the last drum solo song has 6-8 repeated tics with a few louder pops and a possible skip SIDE TWO plays in the GOOD+ to VG- grade with some skipping at the start of the first song with some tics and louder pops after this section the rest of the side-two actually plays rather clean and clear in the VG- grade
GOOD PLUS TO VG- OUTER COVER JACKET  some visible record to record rub wear and darkened transfer, several small tear dots on front slick near bottom wear with three-inch split at top seam near opening edge some flaking at top and bottom seam edges, front opening edge has typical bowing due to age and thick cover stock
