New Nilsson Songs Rare Demo Promo Compilation LPRare Demo and Promo Only Harry Nilsson Compilation, New Nilsson Songs. This compilation was released by Rock Music Co. in 1967, 11813, 11813-X. The record was made by Perry Botkin for Nilsson to distribute personally to promote his songs. Several online sites state that there were most likely only a few dozen to less than hundred made. A Demo stamp is on the center label and the center labels also have some surface marks/spindle marks.The record has surface noise and some louder clicks/pops, play ability ranges from a 5 to 7. Side One has a visual rating the ranges from 4 to 5. Side Two ranges from a 3 to 4 visual rating. The grooves are not whited out or played out, it appears that the surface marks are probably a result of the record not being kept in a sleeve. It does not miss track or skip. The record still has a high sheen and has been cleaned professionally courtesy of Tom Port from Better Records.
