Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of a 1981 singles comp by British group Siouxsie and the Banshees. The group were part of the original London punk scene that produced the Sex Pistols, but their singles at least could be quite poppy ("Hong Kong Garden," "Christine"), albeit with often less than commercial lyrics. The record is billed as a singles collection, and it does collect almost all (8/9) of the group's a-sides from 1978-81. It opts for the b-side of the fourth single, however, and is rounded out with a track from the group's debut LP ("Mirage"). The jacket is close to pristine (M-). Visually, side 1 of the disc has some mostly wispy hairline scrapes, while side 2 is clean. It plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (M-), but does not have the 11x11 photo of Siouxsie.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
