Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Howard Riley - The Day Will Come. A UK 1st (and only) pressing, it was issued by CBS in 1970 and has the catalogue number 64077.
Identifiers - The record bears the following 1st pressing marks -
Matrix / Runout - Stamped - Side A - S 64077 A1
Matrix / Runout - Stamped - Side B - S 64077 B2
Vinyl Condition - Very Good - The record is quite and clean and while a few light surface marks are present, there are no worrying scratches. At first this record presented quite lot of crackle and would have been graded VG-. However, I’ve managed to clean it up somewhat and the first side is now Ex-. The second side is VG but a certain amount of background crackle will still be heard at times, most noticeably during quieter moments. I suspect that the quality could still be improved upon with a bit more attention. Beyond this issue, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Excellent- - Original front-laminated outer cover, which has signs of light wear. Expect a little corner rubbing, the odd small mark and a touch of discolouration along the top edge of the rear panel. Inner sleeve is plain white, die-cut, poly-lined and almost certainly as issued.
