CBS S64077: HOWARD RILEY TRIO 'Our Day Will Come'
UK avant garde jazz rarity from 1970, this is a trio session with Riley (p) joined by Barry Guy (b) and Alan Jackson (d). This is an UK 1st CBS stereo pressing with orange label. As far as I know there was no mono pressing.
Side 1 'Sphere'/'Sad Was The Song'/'Winter'/'Dawn Vision'/'Funeral Song'/'Playtime'
Side 2 'Eclipse'/'Deeper'/'Games'/'Score'/'High'/'The Day Will Come'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is E/EtoE+ (VG+/VG+toVG++) with a few light to very light scratches only, visible under a bright 'grading' light. Side one has a heavier looking scratch. These have little affect on the playing. The cover is E (VG+), with some minor corner damage, edge rubbing, surface dirt/shadowing and surface rubbing/scratching. There is also some edge creasing, particularly down the spine. Both seams are partly unglued.
