ITEM:  HERB POMEROY  -  " Jazz In A Stable "

NOTE:   .....The Stable was a hill-billy club right across the street from George Wein's STORYVILLE on Huntington Avenue in Boston's Back Bay.  In it's earliest days the Stable drew almost all its audience support from the local musicians themselves.....

 

• LABEL =   TRANSITION 1 MONO [DEEP GROOVE BOTH SIDES BLACK AND GOLD LABEL ORIGINAL PRESSING]

 Condition Record =  VG++   

Condition Cover =  G+   LAMINATED COVER  no seam splits.  residue where previous tape has been removed and some tape and residue still on cover.  age wear.

1955 MATERIAL.   FEATURING:  Herb Pomeroy, Varty Haroutunian, Ray Santisi, John Neves, Jim Zitano. 

Tunes:  It might as well be spring, Honey bunny, Moten swing, Porta desks and tuxedos, One bass hit, Off minor, Sweet and lovely, Ray's idea, Dear old stockholm.

MINT= A genuinely perfect record in both vinyl and cover
M=A nearly perfect record. Will have only one or two visual flaw on vinyl and/or cover
NM=Vinyl has no audible scratches but may have visual flaws. Cover will have only slight ring or edge wear.
VG++ = Vinyl will be in Near Mint Condition. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear.
VG+ = One or two light audible scratches only. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear. Possible writing on Cover and/or label.
VG = Several audible scratches, but not throughout vinyl. Cover will have wear, but no splits or tears. Possible writing on jacket and/or label.
Good = Scratches on vinyl that will effect play, but no skips or repeats. Cover may have significant wear, split, tear or tape.
