The BEATLES 45. USA Capitol CEMA Purple label issue for one of 31 1990s “For Jukeboxes Only” Beatles singles. Labels are common purple 1990s CEMA Jukebox Only style Issued from 1992 thru 1996 for these 31 different singles. Most were reissues, about a dozen were NEW combos of Beatles tunes, including this one!!! - LOVE ME DO ‘62 ( I call it that because the other Andy White on drums version was not released till March 1963 on UK PLEASE PLEASE ME LP!!! Flip side of course is PS I LOVE YOU! Both songs originally released as a single in UK in October 1962. Both songs by Lennon/McCartney. This ‘92 Cema single pressed on great Translucent Red vinyl, see photos, beautiful!! It’s the first of 31 1990s Beatles Jukebox Singles. It comes with White sleeve only! Sorry! NOTE: 3 of these CEMA Beatles singles were released on 2 colors of vinyl: Love me do (with this rare Red alternate), Taxman (Black alternate), Norwegian wood (Green alternate). Making 34 possibles!! Of course the rarer versions (fewer issued) of these 3 are quite expensive!! If I recall right, only 10,000 to 30,000 of any of these 31 singles were pressed, and less than 1000 of the rare alternates!! I’ve never owned the alternate Taxman or Norwegian Wood Cema Singles!! Some other are getting expensive like Lucy in the Sky, $75+, Blackbird $60+, etc. Usually because these Cema pressings are the easy way or only way to get a given song on 45 worldwide!!! The ‘92 Black vinyl Love Me Do ‘62 is common, but this Red version is Rare!!! There are NO other US versions on Capitol or Tollie of the Ringo on Drums version!! And these colored vinyl Cema Singles are quite collectable!! This 45 RED Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Fully shiny, virtually unplayed, as are most Cema Beatles 45s!! The labels are clean and both sides are sharp! NOTE: both sides are MONO!!!! There is NO Stereo version of these 2 songs Worldwide!!! Stereo became common on 45s in 1969!
