Up for sale is a super clean NEAR MINT or better “time machine” gem from my personally purchased collection. It is an original 1960s LP: HEAR THE BEATLES TELL ALL Vee-Jay LP PRO-202. It contains interviews with the Beatles by Dave Hull and Jim Steck. Edited and scored by Lou Adler, percussion by Hal Blaine. A Dunhill Production.
This was probably played once when it came out in the mid-sixties and then it has been stored in a LP case where it has lived since it was new. In the 70s or 80s when the protective plastic album sleeves came around it was placed in one of those for further protection and returned to the LP case.
I can't imagine there could be very many nicer copies of this out there. I have inspected the disc under a strong light and this revealed a few short, extremely light hairlines in a small area on one side, likely from being stored in the paper inner sleeve for 50+ years. Otherwise the record is unbelievably shiny and clean. The record jacket has phenomenal gloss and is virtually wear free. There is one very faint approx. 2 inch stress crinkle on the front cover about an inch from the bottom in the white background above the lower right corner. The jacket edges are tight with no splitting. The top open edge of the jacket has a developed a slight natural upward flair or curving effect over time, starting about 1 inch from the edge, shown in one of the photos. The original Vee-Jay inner sleeve with photos of other VJ records of the day is super clean and in excellent condition with no edge splits.

From a no smoking home. I will pack this securely, in a sturdy LP mailer encased in cardboard pads. The LP will be placed in a plain inner sleeve outside the record jacket and original sleeve to prevent splitting.
