This is a really nice example of this rare complete package. The record and poster are in exceptional condition.
The DOREMI album, the band's third, and the first with Lemmy on base was a standout record and defined the band's formula for their classic years with the majority of the songs becoming the core of the genre defining 'Space Ritual' tour that followed.
Early original copies of Hawkwind albums from the 1970s are rising in value following a reappraisal of the band prompted by the the recent Joe Banks book Hawkwind: Days of the Underground. The work of sleeve designer Barney Bubbles is also now being widely re-evaluated with the book The Wild World of Barney Bubbles by Paul Gorman published in June 2022.
This album has had one owner from new in and has been little played.
The vinyl record has been graded in Nr Mint Condition.  I found one very feint discolouration spot on the record, with no obvious scratches or marks. The labels are clean with no writing or tears.  There is the barest evidence of spindle-marks.  The record plays well with good sound throughout. I noticed a few very minor background crackles on the the last quieter tracks on each side but these are not serious and do not spoil the listening experience. I get a sense that this record has not been played or handled very much. A stunning record.
The sleeve has been graded as Very Good condition.  The front of the sleeve has ring and storage wear. This is not so bad on the back.  The sleeve edges are straight and true with shelf wear to the bottom.  All spine text is clearly readable. The text of the commentary on the back is clearly readable. These black/silver sleeves were prone to wear and its extremely hard to find one that does not have any marks.  Its still a stunning sleeve and one of the best examples of Barney Bubbles' work.  The iconic front shield design would be used by the band for many years becoming a key part of the bands image & visual identity.
The poster is in Nr Mint Condition in its original folds which are sharp and unworn.  Edges are nice and straight and there is no sign of pinholes or blue tack marks in the corner.  The poster retains its original vibrant colours.  This is now a very rare and sought after original poster as most copies found their way onto bedroom walls.
The inner sleeve in Very Good condition with folds to two corners.  The bottom is starting to split (the record is kept in a separate poly inner sleeve).
Please look carefully at the pictures which are part of the description.  The item pictured is what you will receive, I don't use stock photos.
