HANK MOBLEY - SOUL STATION - 1960 US BLUE NOTE ORIGINAL (BLP 4031, 47 West 63rd NYC address on deep grooved labels, plastylite 'p' and RVG stamped)
 The 1st US mono pressing of the incredible 1960 LP featuring Hank Mobley, Art Blakey, Wynton Kelly and Paul Chamber (BLP 4031). With deep grooved labels, '47 West 63rd NYC' address, RVG stamped and the distinctive plastylite 'p'. 
Side 1 is in clean VG+ condition with a couple of light surface markings - these are never of a heavier nature with no scratches, sounding superb throughout the side.
Side 2 is in (visual VG and playback VG+) condition; there with a small scratch on track B1, when played there is little disturbance with no skips or jumps and just occasionally some light surface noise.
 Matrix: BN-LP 4031 A & BN-LP 4031 B. 
The sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light residue around the perimeter (front and back) from tape that was once placed as to 'protect' the edges. On the reverse, there is some light discoluration and a slightly peeled sticker which has a previous owner's address on it. Still a neat copy with no rips or tears.
A Note For Buyers
(Selling) and dealing with records is very much part of my 'day job', and I grade all records strictly to Record Collectors' grading system. Records are sent securely with the record out of the sleeve as to prevent seam splits through transit. All records are sent with specialist 'double thickness' stiffeners in high quality industry standard 'Music-O-Max' mailers. I do not have to be reminded to pack things carefully.
