Description



RCA VICTOR LSC 2449.  GOUNOD FAUST BALLET MUSIC/ BIZET CARMEN SUITE.  ROYAL OPERA HOUSE ORCHESTRA, COVENT GARDEN.  ALEXANDER GIBSON, CONDUCTOR.  STEREO.    Original pressing.  1st Side matrix number: L2 RY2148-1S.  2nd Side matrix number: L2 RY 2149-1S.  Both sides have the 1S suffix indicating that this pressing came from the 1st pressing run.  The cover grades VG++ with just slight general wear.  A visual grade of the record is VG++ with just slight surface wear.  A play grade is always in the VG++ to NM range.  A sound clip of the 1st track has been provided.  The sound quality you hear in that clip is representative of what the rest of the album sounds like.  Overall, this is a very nice and very clean copy.

GRADING

Near Mint or Mint Minus - A top copy with the most minimal of wear.

VG++ - Not quite near mint, but a super clean, desirable copy.

VG+ - Shows signs of wear but no significant defects.

VG - Obvious signs of wear but it still has life in it. VG does not mean beat (although it does for some sellers - not me).

VG minus - Moderate to heavy wear. OK if you need a filler copy.

G - Borders on unplayable - don't be be bothered unless it's very rare.
