Description
This is a rare find: the Dutch Capitol white-labelled test pressing of the 1975 Grand Funk Railroad album Born To Die. This comes from the private collection of an EMI producer's son and is very rare! Only a handful of these test pressings were made and even fewer have survived. The word Proefpersing (Dutch for test pressing) is stamped on the sleeve of the record. There's handwritten information on both catalogue number (062 - 82107) and the record company (Capitol) on the sleeve. It says Grand Funk Railroad on the back of the sleeve. The album sounds really nice, although there are some ticks, primarily on the A side, but it doesn't skip. The sleeve is in terrible condition with holes, tears and the righthand side of the sleeve (and part of the bottom) are so damaged that they have come loose. See pictures of record and sleeve. I ship worldwide, and as I am a collector myself who hates it when my purchases are damaged when they are arrive, I only use new cardboard boxes and extra cardboard to protect the album from bending and the record is shipped in a new plastic sleeve. Registered shipping only, The Netherlands € 13, Europe € 19, Rest of the world € 29. I can combine shipping. Just add €1 extra for each additional lp
