Description
Lovely 1st pressing copy of Genesis' classic album from 1973. This has the 'large hatter' label with B&C credits, the thick green card lyric sheet as well as A1-U/B2-U matrices. 'PORKY-RAY' etched on the dead wax on Side 1, 'PECKO' on Side 2. I would think that this copy has been played no more than once or twice.
Single Sleeve Ex In great shape, very light rubbing and creasing only.
Labels Ex+/NM Almost like new. No spindle traces visible.
Inner Ex+/NM Thick card lyric sheet in superb condition.
Record Visually Ex+, lovely shine to the vinyl. Just the very lightest hairlines seen under a strong light. No marks visible in normal light. Playback is Ex/Ex+ throughout, really impressive audio with some inevitable light crackle and a couple of random pops about one third of the way through 'Cinema Show - probably caused by specks of dust. Otherwise this is as good as it gets for a 45 year-old record!
