Description
Very presentable 1st pressing copy of Genesis' classic 1973 album. This has the darker salmon pink large 'Hatter' labels and the B&C Records credits. Matrices are A-1U/B2-U, with 'PORKY-RITY' etched on the dead wax on Side 1 and 'PECKO' etched on Side 2.
Single sleeve VG+ In generally very good order for its age, but there is a little old tape residue running along the base.
Labels Ex Very few spindle marks visible - not too many plays?
Lyric card - Ex Thick dark green board. Later lyric sheets were much thinner.
Inner Polylined bag - not the original.
Record Much heavier vinyl than later issues (140g). Visually Ex-, great shine. Just some light sleeve-removal hairlines seen under a strong light. Playgrade is Ex/Ex-, clear and detailed audio throughout with inevitable patches of light crackle.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' guide.
