This is an original first U.K. pressing of one of the defining LPs of New Wave. Before going solo Gary Numan was the front man of the new wave band Tubeway Army. They were the first band of the electronic era to have a synthesizer-based number-one hit "Are Friends Electric". Both the song and this album topped the UK charts in 1979 shortly after Gary went solo while retaining the musicians from Tubeway army as his back up band. This is your chance to own a piece of new wave history.
Only the very first early pressings of this LP in the UK came with the giant poster making it very rare.
The vinyl has some very light scratches that you can see when held under a bright light however the record itself has a very nice shiny new look to it. The light scratches cause a little bit of background noise (depending on your system) I grade the LP as VG+.
The cover is generally in good condition. No seam splits. There is a place with some damage on the back cover (see photo). I also grade the sleeve as VG+.
